Five Fabulous Breakfast Ideas

The majority of people say they don't have time to eat breakfast or are simply not hungry when they wake up. Research shows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Why? Because your body AND your brain need energy to function. Ideally, breakfast should be heart healthy and nutrient dense. This means that your breakfast should include protein and carbohydrates.  With the right combination of these macro-nutrients, you will be feeling great in the morning and ready to start your day... the healthy way! Try some of my favorite breakfast meals:

1. Oatmeal with low-fat milk

Add some walnuts and blueberries
