Smoothies have always been my #1 beverage during the hot summer. I love that you can add a variety of ingredients to a blender (kale, fresh or frozen fruit, water, milk) and end up with a refreshing, nutritious snack. Try my favorite breakfast smoothie blend:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 cup ice
- 1 teaspoon honey
1. Blend together and enjoy!
