Candied Lemons

For this month's Recipe ReDux, I wanted to share this sweet and simple recipe that can satisfy any candy craving. For those of us who love're in for a real treat! These sugary lemon slices are the perfect snack and candy substitute.

Candied Lemons


  • 2 meyer lemons, sliced into 12 slices
  • 1 cup granulated sugar


  1. Wash lemons thoroughly. Slice 2 lemons into 12 slices.
  2. Preheat oven to 250 F.
  3. Lay lemons on baking sheet and sprinkle sugar on top. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool and enjoy!
